THE OFFICIAL HOME OF
THE TRIPOD FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Josh

TFFL Owner | Defending Title Holder | Public Enemy #1

A proud Atlanta Falcons fan, Florida Gators supporter, and Tampa Bay Rays fan, Josh has spent most of his sports life navigating chaos, heartbreak, false hope, and yearly declarations of “this is our year.” Somehow, all of that emotional damage translated perfectly into fantasy football success.

A former football and baseball standout, Josh brings legitimate athletic pedigree, competitiveness, and game awareness into the TFFL — traits that finally came together in dominant fashion during the 2025 season. Now entering Year 4, Josh does so carrying the one title every owner wants attached to their name:
Defending Champion.

And unlike some champions who stumble into a lucky season and disappear, Josh looked fully in control during his title run. He drafted well, managed aggressively, made the right moves at the right times, and backed it all up with one of the most dominant postseason performances the league has ever seen.

Including setting the single-week scoring record in TFFL history with 197.64 points during the playoff semifinals.

That number still makes owners uncomfortable.

Josh approaches fantasy football with a dangerous combination of confidence and competence — which is unfortunate for the rest of the league. Every waiver move feels calculated. Every lineup decision feels intentional. And every victory lap feels slightly longer now that he has a ring to justify it.

League insiders describe him as:
-
“The reason everyone suddenly overthinks their draft strategy”
-
“Playing chess while half the league is arguing in the group chat”
-
“Way too comfortable being the defending champ”

As the reigning champion, Josh now enters the 2026 season with a target squarely on his back. The hunting season has officially begun, and every owner in the TFFL wants the same thing:
To be the one that knocks off the champ.

Josh, meanwhile, seems perfectly fine with the pressure.
